About Me

Aloha! My name is Courtney and I live and teach in the beautiful state of Hawaii on the island of O'ahu. I was originally born and raised on Maui but moved to O'ahu to attend college. I met my hubby here and never left the island since. I'm a wife, mommy and teacher. 

 I am a 3rd grade teacher but am currently working as an instructional coach for grades 3 and 4 and the Gifted and Talented Teacher at my current school. This position definitely pushes me out of my comfort zone and is helping me to grow as an educator. 

Eventually, I do plan to go back to the classroom but currently, I am enjoying learning and being stretched in ways I would not normally be while in a classroom. I know that all I am learning will help me to be a better and stronger teacher when I do choose to go back.
